A Commitment to Excellence: Redesigning Student Success in Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary and Postsecondary Education
It is my happy privilege to welcome you to this final report Meeting and Reccomendation Conference of "Commitment to Excellence". This over two year long research project of the Texas Education Reform Foundation (TERF) has been focused on creating a "success Agenda" for the children, youth and young adults of Texas. I said as we begain this process that the purpose of this work was most emphatically not ot find fault with our schools. It is however most emphatically meant to "Find Truth." Our exhaustive data collection, disaggregation, collation and reporting is firmly focused on "finding what works" and then hold this up for inspection and implementation should those in various authorities wish. _ Jon H. Fleming
